Matt turns 34...we think

How funny that we have to calculate our birthdays each year to see how old we are. They just keep coming so quickly. We ended up going on a date. We went to Johnny Carino's and split an appetizer, salad, and meal. So yummy. Then we went to Pala to play a little slots and black jack. We won enough to pay for our night and bring home $30, so we were happy. We leave for Palm Desert this weekend to celebrate some more, minus the boys!! Matt talks about it constantly...he can't wait. So nice to be able to talk and not be interrupted.

Nana's Treat

The boys were so excited when Nana Di came and took us out to breakfast. What a treat to break up our normal weekday routine. The boys got "Horton Hears a Who" pancakes. Can you say sugar rush! It was so much fun.

Legoland

I am lucky enough to have a sister-in-law that works at Legoland. We got half off annual passes. It is perfect for the boys age. Ty is not so sure about the rides. A little scary for his taste, but as usual he goes along with it. It is hard not being able to go on the rides with them, but a few more months and I will be back on. Can you see little Ty-ty on the roller coaster in the middle?

Couples Night Out

It had been forever since "the playgroup" had been out as couples. I got to be the "DD" of course! We went to dinner and then a club. It felt a little awkward being 7 months pregnant in a club with people much younger than me, but we still had fun. Can't wait to do it again...just hope it doesn't take as long. BTW, that is Matt on the bottom of the picture...as if you didn't guess that. Can you say goof balls!

Matt and I went to a party close to my moms house. We dropped the boys off before and came back after. They were so excited to go!

So nice to be outside. The weather has been beautiful. The boys are so excited to be eating outside.

Mom, "Ty your friends are coming over today," Ty, "Ok, let's do it!"

Jake, "Are you so excited my wife is going to look like you?"

Mom, "Ty get down from there" Ty "Not Ty, me Batman" Mom, "Ok, Batman get down from there" Ty/Batman, "OK"

Jake, "Mama, lets name the baby Daphne" (hmmm, too much Scooby Doo)

Jake, "I can feed the baby, change her, and put her to sleep"

Mom, "Our baby is going to need some dolls and things, I am not sure if she will like all these trains and superhero toys" Jake, "Our Curious George doll can be her dolly."

Ty has 2 blue blankies that he insists on having at bedtime and other times. Last night he said,"Jakies blanky mama", and handed it to me. So I gave one to Jake. Only one more to get rid of.

We had another egg hunt yesterday in our backyard, trying to pass the time! Jake said "Ty look here is an egg". I said, "oh Jake that is so sweet" Ty walked over and Jake snagged it just as Ty was reaching for it. So, much for positive thinking.

Mom, "Ty I can't carry you much longer, you are getting so heavy" Ty, "No mama, you're strong!"
