Jake lost his first Tooth

Jake lost his first tooth.  It was such a big deal, especially since Jake is our first and everything is new for us.  He had been working on this one for weeks.  Nana stopped by and got him some Dibs ice cream and sure enough his tooth fell out.  It was nice to share the moment with Nana.  He got $5 for his first tooth, but only $1 for all future teeth (Jake told us this is how it works).

Mother's Day

Jake had a very sweet Mother's Day celebration at school.  They sang to us, gave us beautiful gifts (the card is stored away...hysterical), fed us strawberries and muffins, and gave hand massages.  I couldn't ask for anything more!

Jake is nearing the end of his first official season of T-ball. He loves that his grandparents come to the games and he always plays to the crowd. He waves each time he gets up to bat and gives us a thumbs up when he comes to home plate. Time will only tell if this will be a sport he chooses to play, but we will start soccer soon. I really think he will enjoy the faster pace. He loves that he plays with his playgroup friends Ben, Andrew, & Hayden, and his best friend in Kindergarten Caleb. We had a great season and the kids sure grew by the end. I made the baseball cards like the one above for all the kids as Team Mom and we will be presenting them to the kids in a book. They will get one of each kid on their team. I hope they like them.

Crazy Kylie

One picture that clearly shows why I cannot get much done at this age.  She cracks me up, but boy does she like to get into things.  She loves to tour the house finding new things to climb and get into it.  She doesn't want much to do with toys or TV.
