Visiting the Fire Station

My sister sent me these pics of my trip to Arizona. Her brother in law is a fireman, so we got to visit the station. Jake was so excited, Ty had no clue. We also visited his Uncle Ron at his police station, but those pics are MIA.

Hunting Eggs w/ My Friends

Arizona

I drove out to Arizona to see my sister with the boys...by myself!! It is about a 6 hour drive. The way there was good, but coming back was a little tougher. Jake learned how to get out of his carseat, and I kept having to pull over and strap him back in. It is funny that when I was little I use to crawl all around the car, but seeing Jake out of his seat climbing around while on the freeway scared me half to death. The DVD player definitley saved me. I was so afraid of the kids acting up I brought a portable DVD player, on top of my car DVD that is already installed... so each kid had their own. Jake watched Blues Clues and Ty watched Baby Einstein. I felt like such a bad mom, but you gotta do what you gotta do! My sister took all the pics why we were there and I will post them when she sends them.

New Outfits from Nana

Balboa Park Museums

Jake loves trains!! So we took him to the Railroad Museum at Balboa Park. He loved looking at all the trains. All week he said "more museeeeums mama."

Here we are at the Museum of Natural History in Balboa Park. We went to see the dinosaurs, but found out it is under contruction. We did get to see this mountain lion that Jake decided to imitate. He has a pretty scary growl!

Ty's 6 Month Portrait

Here is Ty's 6 month portrait! I can't believe how fast he is growing. It seems like I blink and another month has gone by. He is the sweetest thing. He is always smiling and so happy. He is quite the daddy's boy.

Ty at the Doctor

Here is Ty at his 6 month doctor appointment. His stats have dropped dramatically, but so did Jake's at this age. The doctor said it is genetic.

Weight: 15lbs (15%)
Height 27" (75%)

He was at 100% for height, and 75% for weight at his 4 month appt! No rolls for my babies! The doctor said he looks great. He got 4 shots, which made him very sad. Jake was there and kept saying, "It's Ok Ty-Ty"

I love Dr. Weintraub. He was my doctor when I was little. I hope he doesn't retire soon...we got some more babies to get through.

Watch Out for Ty!

Here is Ty showing his big bro not to mess with him. Jake loves to love on his brother and sneak in a few elbows to the head. He better watch out...Ty is growing up quick!

Music Class

Here is Jake at his new music class, dancing to the "Rocket Song"

He loves when he gets to be in a marching band, and march around playing his drum!

He loves to play the instruments. This one is great because they get to practice their colors.

Jake is quite the dancer. Not quite sure whose moves he has picked up after, Mama or Dada?
At the end of each class, he turns to me and says, "More music class mama" with the sadest face. It breaks my heart.

"Haircut Papa"

Jake loves to get his haircut by Papa Allen. He is so good and sits still for most of the haircut. He also loves to get licorice when he is done, or before, or during!!
