Pumpkin Patch No 2

We passed on Bates this year because of the heat. Some of us visited a local stand, and let the kids play on the rides. It worked out, since many of us were still recovering from the party the night before :) Kylie slept through it. Not a very good pic of her, but I had to represent!

Annual Turner Halloween Party

What a crazy party we had this year. Not to mention we now have one more kid, the other 12 grew twice as big I swear. My house was packed. We played Rock Band, which was a huge hit, and the kids did a craft and watched Scooby Doo. The adults dressed up this year too! I love our friends!!

MOPS Pumpkin Patch

I organized the annual MOPS Pumpkin Patch this year. We had 45 kids...I was so excited. It was in Del Mar, and hotter than I could ever have imagined. Hot in October less than a mile from the ocean...only in So. Cal. Everything went smoothly thanks to Chas who helped watch the boys while we were there. Nana Cheri watched Kylie for me...not sure how I would have managed with her too. Here is a pic of Andrew, Luke, Jake, and Ty.

Things I Don't Want to Forget

So many items I want to remember in this picture. So, here it goes.

1. Ty's blue blanky - can hardly live with out it (AKA Choo-choo train, blue blanky)
2. Ty sucking his thumb, usually has his pointer finger of the same hand in his nose as well (honestly, not picking anything, just comfortable I guess)
3. Curious George - the monkey that Jake became attached to when his preschool introduced their own Monkee that each kid takes turns bringing home. Jake got tired of waiting to get it, so he must have decided Curious George was good enough for him.
4. My blue stop watch I use for running on Jake's wrist. It has been on his wrist for at least 3 weeks straight (should I wash under it?). It will beep throughout the day and night. He constantly is telling us the time...it's three-one-one mama! Update - 1/13/09 still wearing the watch
5. Bambi because Jake and Ty seem to have an agreement that they both have to have something. (ie if I ever give one a snack they ask for one for their brother, same goes with drinks, toys, etc), so Jake must have gotten Bambi for Ty, since he had George.
6. Train track - not sure why it is there??
7. Oh yeah, matching pajamas thanks to Nana Di...they have so many...wonder how long that will last.

Carlsbad Firehouse

Carlsbad had their annual Fire Open House. We had never been. It wasn't super eventful, but the boys enjoyed it. I did get trapped in the smoke house. It was a trailer that has a smoke machine. You have to crawl on the floor of it, and then climb out the back window. Not knowing the climbing out the window part, or the crawling part, I followed the boys into the "danger zone". I crawled with my diaper bag and flip-flops through the cramped trailer, trying to keep an eye on the boys, and said a prayer as I jumped out the back. Next year I get to hold the baby, Matt, and you chase the boys...see if you fit :)

Lemonade Stand

We had our annual community garage sale, and I decided to occupy the kids with a lemonade stand. They had a great time selling their lemonade for 50 dollars each...according to Jake.

The Rolls

Ok, so here is a picture of the rolls. They're not huge, but for my babies they are huge. She has almost outgrown the sink!

Art Splash

We went to the Art Splash in Carlsbad and watched a local kids group called Hulabaloo (or something like that). Of course my boys were on stage. It was cute at first and then got a little embarrassing. They are not little toddlers anymore, and are getting a little too big for certain things!

Learning to Drive

Jake was showing Ty the ropes at Legoland, now that Ty is old enough for the driving school. Jake held his hand all the way to the cars. So sweet!
