Thanks for visiting our site! I will continue to post pictures and updates here for everyone to see, and as a keepsake for Jake, Ty, Kylie and Carter. It is hard to believe how quickly they grow. I am so afraid I will forget a memory or important milestone as time goes on. Hopefully this blog will help, and give us a chance to share with family and friends. Please feel free to post a comment, you do not have to have an account.

Wild Animal Park Passport
We went around the Wild Animal Park stamping our passport at stations throughout the park. I couldn't believe we got all of them with just me and the three kids. It was exhausting, but worth it. Kylie is growing up so fast!
Summer Behavior Program
I figured we had to had something to get through the whole summer with all three. They get "fuzzies" when they help out and have good behavior. They lose them when they misbehave. When they fill the jar they can pick a special activity with mom or dad. So far so good. I am realizing Jake is more helpful, while Ty has better behavior. Kylie is clueless!

My baby matches too well!
We couldn't believe it when we showed up at church and Kylie got lost in the tablecloth. Two weeks later my friend gave me a bag and it happened again. Crazy!

Carlsbad Library Summer Reading Program
The boys started the summer reading program at the library. To our surprise our neighbors Genero and Chelsea were the testers. Jake was very nervous and overwhelmed by being tested while Ty was very carefree about the whole thing.

Opening Jake's gift |
I know I say it all the time, but I can't believe how fast they grow (just look at his height compared to the sign!) It makes me sad that all these moments are flying by. Ty is one of the sweetest boys you could ever meet. He would give you the shirt off his back if you asked. I never had one complaint from his teacher and he went to school everyday without a single whine. I am so proud of all that he has learned. He knows his sounds and letter, and has been shocking us with his math skills. His graduation was held in the chapel where the kids sang songs. You could see Ty yawning throughout a couple of them in true Ty fashion. Jake had found a gift bag at home, put some things around the house in it including his own toys, put it in the car, brought it to the graduation, and had Ty sit down and open it all on his own. It was the sweetest thing. Matt and I looked over and saw them sitting on the wall and rushed over to grab a picture. They do fight a lot, but they sure love each other.

Jake Graduates from Kinder
I was so excited to see Jake graduate. He grew so much this year. I was so happy they had a real graduation with caps and everything. Too cute. They sang the cutest songs and got their diplomas. Nana and Papa Hogencamp and Turner came. He decided he had to have a tie so we went to JC Penney and he picked out his own tie...solid black.
Teacher Gifts
Jake suggested we make "mom's famous chocolate chip cookies" for the teachers. He really hasn't tasted many others, so I guess to him mine are famous. I thought they were cute.

Sweet, Sensitive Ty-Ty
My sweet Ty has such a tender heart and his feelings can be easily hurt at the drop of a hat lately. I am wondering if this is the normal part of a "middle child" in a family, or perhaps a stage. At times I feel bad, and others I just try to maintain patience.

Movie Time
Nana took Kylie this week for "Thursday's with Nana" and Matt was working, so the boys and I went to see How to Train a Dragon. It was nice to hang out with the boys. Ty ended up on my lap the whole time, while I held his glasses on. I guess with Kylie he was missing his time.
