Lake Arrowhead Alone!!

Matt and I had been getting the itch to go away. We needed a break from all the hustle and bustle of kidos. We were shocked when it all randomly fell together (although we were praying about it, yet it is still shocking when God works it out). Nana Di and Papa Pete split the kids one night at Nana's and one night at Papa's. We slept, ate, and watched the olympics. There was a nice snow storm on Saturday and the view from our room was amazing! Do you like our self portrait from our room?

Jake's 100 Day School Project

Jake had to create a 100 day project that had 10 groups of 10.  We decided to use school supplies.  He placed everything and I glued it after he went to bed.

Jake's Open House

Jake had his kinder Open House. He gave us a tour of his room. It was so fun to be back in the class. I also get to volunteer once a week as the Phonics mom. He is doing great!

Baseball Cookies

We made these cookies for Jake's tball team. I am one of the team moms this year! Hope the kids like them.

Valentine's Day

I was so proud of Jake, he wrote all 30 of his classmates names and his own on his Valentines. He is becoming quite the reader and writer and it is so exciting to watch.

Ty's 4 year checkup

Ty did great...shots without a tear! My baby boy is growing up.

Spontaneous Vacation!

We had a plumbing issue at our house on dec 30, and spent a week at a hotel. The kids loved it. We were at a small hotel the first night, then we moved to the La Costa Resort where the kids got their own room and bed. They went in the pool during the day and had a great time. Jake wanted to live there!!

Tyler's Trike-a-thon

Daddy strapping him up
The Boys Club (Ty has all boys in his class!)

Tyler participated in the San Marcos Lutheran Preschool annual Trike-a-thon.  He made sure to stop at the water station every pass and stick around for a cup or two.  He switched between his bike and scooter.  Cracked me up!
