Happy Easter

Our Easter was rather relaxing. We went to church on Saturday night. Sunday we had family at our house in the morning, had naps, and then went to Nana Di's for another egg hunt and dinner. We were actually able to keep the boys away from a lot of candy. They really enjoyed themselves and weren't as overwhelmed as they usually are around holidays.

PS Learned a new scrapbook skill of selecting just one image (the boys) and changing them to a sepia tone. Very excited to use it again!

Learning to Egg Toss

We had an egg toss at our house today. Here is Jake teaching Ty how to do it. You can't see, but there are other people doing the egg toss around them. They were trying so hard to participate. So cute.

Silly Boys

Haircut Anyone?

I caught Jake role playing "Papa Allen" again, but this time with scissors. I freaked out and then grabbed the camera. I knew my dad had to see this. Only 2 snips that I can see. Ty's blond hair is not going to last forever and I don't need Jake's help.

Craft Day

I had the gals over for a craft day. Of course I forgot to take pics until the very end, and only pics of our craft. I was so excited at how they turned out. Time for Easter! Oh yeah and here is a picture of Jake teaching Ty how to spell Easter...please ignore the lack of clothing.

Wrestle Mania

Oh how I need a girl!! The boys love to wrestle, which usually starts out cute and ends with an injury. I tried to get a pic before an injury to show what a good portion of our day entails.

Potty Time?

Ok, well it may not be time, but we're trying (on occasion). Just like last time I know I just have to buckle down and do it. Throw out the diapers and commit, but I just can't get myself to do the work yet. At least this time we have the encouragement and "entertainment" of an older brother. Ty must have sat on there for 30 minutes while Jake entertained him. I guess Jake figured if he helped Ty he could get a lollipop too. We did get some results! My goal is by the time baby gets here or by the time I want to get him in preschool (about the same time), but that goal is approaching all too quickly. I am sure he will love having this pic later on.

Ty in the Rain
