Thanks for visiting our site! I will continue to post pictures and updates here for everyone to see, and as a keepsake for Jake, Ty, Kylie and Carter. It is hard to believe how quickly they grow. I am so afraid I will forget a memory or important milestone as time goes on. Hopefully this blog will help, and give us a chance to share with family and friends. Please feel free to post a comment, you do not have to have an account.

RVing at Dos Picos
We finally did it...after months of talking about it we rented an RV. It was so great, that Matt was afraid I would never go back to tent camping. With heat, ac, stove, refridgerator, and a DVD I could have stayed forever. The kids had a blast and met some new friends. We tried to make a cake on the campfire, but it never quite worked out. The boys took a hike and after an hour I could hear my sweet Ty crying from the mountain tops. Apparently they took a side trail, maybe not a trail at all, home and returned with some bumps and scratches. It was so nice to just focus on family for a few days, without the interuptions of schedules and day to day stuff. Can't wait to do it again!

Jake on the News!
Jake made the news! They came to tape the Carrillo Running Club at the school. They had to be there at 5am with all there medals, tshirts, and foot charms. They were on two segments that day. What a fun experience for him! When we go out in public he says, "Do you think people will recognize me?" Then a few months later we were at a Chili's and the waitress saw his shirt and said she had seen them on the news...made his day!!

Kylie's 1st Haircut
Although a haircut was not necessary, Kylie couldn't wait another visit. After watching her brothers for over two year, she decided it was her turn. She sat so still and so grown up. Poor papa, soon she will be asking for color. After we walked to the snow cone stand and Papa bought the kids snow cones.
