Thanks for visiting our site! I will continue to post pictures and updates here for everyone to see, and as a keepsake for Jake, Ty, Kylie and Carter. It is hard to believe how quickly they grow. I am so afraid I will forget a memory or important milestone as time goes on. Hopefully this blog will help, and give us a chance to share with family and friends. Please feel free to post a comment, you do not have to have an account.

It's a ......
What an exciting day. We had our ultrasound this morning and got a 90% certainty on the sex. Watch the video to find out what we are having! My mom went with me to the appointment and Nana Cheri stayed with the boys...so you can hear them in the background!

Jake's Trike-a-thon
Jake did great at his preschool trike-a-thon. He just kept going and going. Thank goodness nobody donated per lap. Thank you so much to all of you who donated! I have another week to collect, so you will be hearing from me :)! Ahhh, a whole new stage of life for us...hounding our family for money (oh wait I think I remember doing that in high school). A special thanks to Uncle Steve who donated all the way from Barstow. I promised I would get you video. Hope you enjoy it!

Train Expo
Dance War taping
I was lucky enough to have my friend invite me to go to a live taping of the new show Dance Wars..we also got a tour of the CBS lot. We were so excited. We walked past the rooms of Eva Longoria (sp?) for the Craig Ferguson show. We saw a star from Young and the Restless, the Prices Right Stage, the Helicopter pad that Survivor host lands and more. The show was great...the audience was a mix of the dancers families and high school kids. Oh, and then there was us...ha. We got to take some pics after the taping. Everyone was very nice. The host, Drew, was very nervous in between tapings and never made eye contact even when walking 2 feet in front of us. We were shocked at how small all the stages were!!! TV makes everything look so much bigger!!!

Speed Mini Golf w/ Jake and Buddies
My friend came up with the idea of taking the kids out for activities separate from their siblings. It is a nice way to do some age appropriate activities and they get special attention...and we get a little of a break. Our first activity was with the older ones and they played mini golf. I was not quite sure how it would go. They ended up playing 2 rounds in about 40 minutes. They just kept hitting it until it went in the whole. They had a blast!

Christmas 2008
We decided to have a much calmer Christmas this year. We have had grandparents over in the past, but that adds to eight extra bodies which seems to be a lot for the boys all at once. They don't know who to run and show their presents to. Here are pics of our annual reading of Twas the Night Before Christmas and the annual walk down the stairs. Santa got them a train table this year. They never got one before because Jake is not one to play by himself (perhaps it is because I never set him down the first 1 1/2 years of his life...hmmm). Now that Ty is old enough and does enjoy playing by himself it gets good use between them playing together and Ty playing by himself. Overall it was a very calm and enjoyable Christmas! Perhaps because there was no SmartSolutions party to plan for? Whew!
