Thanks for visiting our site! I will continue to post pictures and updates here for everyone to see, and as a keepsake for Jake, Ty, Kylie and Carter. It is hard to believe how quickly they grow. I am so afraid I will forget a memory or important milestone as time goes on. Hopefully this blog will help, and give us a chance to share with family and friends. Please feel free to post a comment, you do not have to have an account.

Childrens Creek Christening
Ty got a new playground over the summer at his new preschool. It has a rock creek and ampitheater. They had a celebration today. Ty sure loves his school.

Things that come out of their mouths (cont'd)
We were doing Jake's homework for church. We were talking about the parable of the lost sheep. I asked Jake if he was the father of 100 sheep and one got lost, wouldn't he leave the 99 to find the one lost sheep. He said, "I would use binoculars to look for the one and stay with the 99". Although it does not work for teaching the lesson, I thought it was pretty clever.

Things that come out of their mouths (cont'd)
Ty in timeout - Mama, "Ty stop talking," Ty crying, "I am talking to Jesus" Mama, "what are you saying to him?" "to get me out of timeout and bring daddy home quickly." Well it worked, I took him out of timeout and daddy just called and said he is coming home early!

Sea World
We went to Sea World this weekend! It was the kids first visit. It was very busy, but we were able to see everything we wanted. Jake and Ty's favorite was the Shamu Rocks night show. Kylie clapped at all the appropriate parts. Jake and daddy got to go on one of the big rollercoasters. We left at 11pm and were all asleep by the time we got home, except daddy.

Kinder Orientation!
It's official, we are parents of a school age child. I can't believe it! And this is serious stuff! Jake is very lucky to go to a great school, Carrillo Elementary. One of his best friends, Ashley, is in his class. Today they met their teacher and were taught drop off and pick up routines. Jake is very excited, just not sure I am ready!

Y World of Sports
The boys have been enjoying their first experience with organized sports. They are in a league that tries out all different sports. They started with basketball, followed by t-ball, then soccer, and finally football. They are on different teams, which means different schedules! Jake seems to do best at soccer, while Ty likes t-ball. It has been fun, minus the bumps, bruises, and occassional tears.
